You will also spot the highest peak of Madhya Pradesh- Dhoopgarh, which has an elevation of 4,429 ft. How to reach: If you want to travel by flight then there are two important nearby airports- Bhopal airport and Jabalpur airport. If you want to travel by train then the nearby railway stations are at Sohagpur (17 Kms), Hoshangabad (65kms), Itarsi (75kms) & Pipariya (42 Kms). Best time to visit: Good time to visit Satpura National Park is from October till April. It’s pretty hot during the months of May and June in Satpura National Park and a lot of animals therefore move away to the less rocky areas where the humans are not allowed.
