Of course, it takes time and practice to go beyond what your client is saying, and find the meaning between the words they say. Some may have approached you to put up their townhouses for sale, even though their hearts might not be wishing to, for some person known to them. Yet, you have to find the right way to help them breeze through this transition and complete that process to make the deal happen. Some may be wanting to buy (or rent) a decent place in a decent locality, which is a greater priority, for they would be agreeing to compromise a bit on certain bits of the premises such as floor space area, a missing (or unfixed) thing in the house or two, etc. You have to understand, where each individual comes from, and what that person is really looking for.

That’s what I do, and prefer to do firstly! Once, you get into the groove of understanding the scenario, it grants you leverage to better understand the property in the discussion, making a great offer for both the parties to the deal. And, a streamlined process makes it easier for you to manage all the paperwork, the follow-ups with the officials, etc. for both the parties in the deal. Some situations might require having a rent agreement involved, which is a quite different scenario than a Sale deal. Furthermore, just as you would approach your close pal for anything you need, your clients would not hesitate to approach you again in the future or refer any of their friends to you.
