Indian visa photo requirements?
The applicant is required to upload photographs while applying for Indian e-Visa. The fees are non-refundable for visa application, a rejection of the visa means you start afresh and pay again so to avoid this inconvenience you must follow the photograph requirements given below.
The photograph should be recent (not more than six months old).
*Image should be between 1MB to 10MB in JPEG format. No selfie is acceptable.
*Photograph must have dimensions between 900 x 1200 pixels wide and 2250 x 3000 pixels high (in 3:4 aspect ratio).
*Expression on the face should look natural and photo print should be clear with a continuous tone quality (avoid photo editing).
*Taking a digital photo of your face from the passport is wrong. It should have a full face, front view, eyes open, without spectacles & should not contain red-eye.You need a photo of you not one of those travel documents.
* Photograph should be without borders.
*The image should be portrait and not a landscape photograph to avoid unnecessary elongation.
