Orbach Successfully Completes Roof Replacement Project
The University of California, Riverside’s Orbach Library has undergone a significant renovation with the installation of a new roof, completed in early December. The project involved a full demolition of the previous roofing system, which had been causing water seepage issues, particularly on the third floor. The new roof, made of durable fiberglass, has a lifespan of 40 years and has been successfully used in other roofing projects on campus. The old roof had been a persistent problem, allowing water to leak into the library’s third floor, damaging ceiling tiles and affecting books and other materials. The new roofing system is expected to provide better protection and improve the overall integrity of the building. “The workmanship is amazing,” said Dan Lerman, assistant director of project management for Facilities Services. “I’m 100% satisfied with it.” For more details please visit our website - https://www.constructionviewpoint.com/2025/02/28/orbach-successfully-completes-roof-replacement-project/ ![]()
