JetBlue no longer charges cancellation fees for most fares, such as Blue, Blue Extra, and Mint, but passengers are given a travel credit instead of a direct refund. The exception is Blue Basic fares, which are nonrefundable and often come with stricter rules. If you cancel a Blue Basic, you may lose the full value of your ticket. Fortunately, JetBlue offers a 24-hour flexible cancellation window for all fares, so if you cancel within 24 hours of booking (with flights at least seven days away), you can receive a full refund.
