No luggage racks on coffins!
You can't take earthly things with you! (KJV) Ecclesiastes 5:15 As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. (You came into this world naked, and you leave it the same way, naked. Meaning, there are no luggage racks on coffins; you can't take earthly things [anything you can carry in your hands] with you, such as money, etc. to heaven. See Psalm 49:17 also. I heard it put another way recently; there are no u-hauls behind hearsts). Does anything go with you? 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (We will all stand before Christ to be judged. He will judge us for the good or evil we have done in these earthly bodies. Our deeds/works do follow us, good or bad). Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. (What you choose to do in this flesh life is very important. Your deeds, good or bad, are written in the books in heaven. See Revelation 20:12-13 and 22:12). Titus chapter 2 gives us a description of some of what can be called good works. The object is to lead others toward God, not away from Him. Each of us are just one member of the many membered body of Christ. We all can't be doing the same thing; God has given each of us different gifts. Some are given a beautiful singing voice, some are given the ability and means to speak to a crowd, etc. Use your God given gift to lead others toward Him. It happens to everyone! Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. (This is an appointment you can't miss regardless of what you believe. Each person is destined to live here on earth once, then die at least once, and then be judged). [2 Samuel 14:14, Ecclesiastes 3:2; Matthew 10:28 (second death] Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. [Your works here on earth do follow you! Didn't know that? Read it for yourself in the above verses]. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. [Good works are rewarded, bad works are penalized]. Continue studying your KJV Bibles cover to cover as we are commanded to do in 2 Timothy 2:15. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. [What can a person expect if they don't study the Bible? They can expect to be deceived. If you do not study the Bible yourself you must rely on what some other human tells you is in the Bible; bad idea. Don’t put your trust in a man. Put your trust into God and His word]. Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
