S/F two-compartment oil tank
The double-layer oil tank, in full, is a steel reinforced glass fiber double-layer oil tank. It consists of an outer layer of glass fiber reinforced plastic (i.e., fiberglass) anti-seepage casing attached to the single-layer steel oil tank, forming a double-layer structure. There is a through-gap space between the steel inner tank and the FRP outer tank; it is also equipped with a leakage detection device that can monitor the gap space 24 hours a day. Once a leak occurs in either the inner or outer tank, the sensor of the leakage detection device will detect the liquid level at the bottom of the gap space and sound an alarm, ensuring the safe use of the oil tank. 1. Inner Layer Assurance: Made from 6m thick Q235-B steel plate, which offers increased strength compared to ordinary single-layer oil tanks with a thickness of only 5mm. 2. Outer Layer Optimization: The reinforced glass fiber has a thickness of over 2.5m, providing excellent pressure and vibration resistance. It is also corrosion-resistant and resistant to electrical erosion. 3. Layer Spacing: Unique process technology is used between layers to achieve a gap of 0.1m, eliminating potential hazards at their source. 4. Detection Equipment: A leakage detector monitors in real-time for 24 hours, sounding an alarm when it detects the liquid level at the bottom of the gap space. If the inner tank of the double-layer oil tank leaks, the gas or detection liquid within the double-layer gap, which carries a certain pressure, will enter the atmospheric-pressure inner tank; changes in pressure or liquid level within the double-layer gap will trigger an audio-visual alarm. After the stored liquid leaks into the double-layer gap, since the outer tank remains intact, the stored liquid will not leak out. Therefore, the stored liquid, soil, and groundwater are all safe. If the outer tank leaks, the gas or detection liquid within the double-layer gap, which carries a certain pressure, will enter the soil. Similarly, changes in pressure or liquid level within the double-layer gap will trigger an audio-visual alarm. At this point, since the inner tank is intact, the stored liquid is safe; only gas or detection fluid enters the soil, making the soil and groundwater also safe. The stored liquid that comes into contact with the inner tank and the soil and groundwater that come into contact with the outer tank are different media, with varying rates of corrosion for the tank material. Therefore, the probability of leakage occurring simultaneously is almost zero. This ensures that the stored liquid does not leak out of the tank, achieving both production safety and environmental protection.
