InforOS On-Premise Updates to end December 31, 2024
Infor is ending mainstream support and updates for InforOS at the end of 2024. Many of the underlying technologies such as Java 8, SQL Server, Microsoft .Net, and Windows used for InforOS on-premise are being retired and not maintained by their respective owners. This can lead to security issues and vulnerabilities that can’t be fixed. Infor will continue to offer updates, patches, and fixes (Supplementary Update Maintenance) until December 31, 2024. After that, the maintenance transitions to Sustaining Maintenance, where users will have access to pre-existing patches, documentation, and KB articles. However, no new updates or fixes will be provided.
