Canadian philanthropist Yank Barry, a client of a national PR firm, was highlighted on CNN for his efforts with boxing legend Evander Holyfield to release Syrian refugees. Barry, who co-founded the Global Village Champions Foundation with Muhammad Ali, liberated more than 50 Syrian refugees (adults and children), housed them in a former four-star hotel, provided them with food and clothing, and assisted many of them in finding employment so they could live more prosperous lives.
