Sin separates!

Truly repent and be saved or remain separated from God; there is no third choice! All verses come from a KJV Bible.

Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

(Your sins separate you from God's face. He will not hear you until you [truly] repent. See Psalm 145:18 next and see 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9. Then study Ephesians 2:1 and Colossians 1:21).

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(It is your choice. Eternal, spiritual death, or the free gift of God which leads to eternal, spiritual life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. See John 4:36 also).

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

(Self explanatory. Does this exclude anyone)?

What can one do?

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

(This is conditional; he that believes shall be saved. See John 3:16, 18 and 36 also. What happens to unbelievers)?

Psalm 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

(You can't con Him. You must truly repent).

We all have a choice to make while here on earth, keep sin (no repentance) or get rid of it (truly repent and grow close to God); there is no third choice. Which do you choose? Repentance is an ongoing thing; some preach it is a one and done thing; not so. We all sin even when after we have asked God to forgive us. Thus, we must repent again. Who would want you to think you only have to repent once? You get one guess. See the verse below to read which sins are forgiven upon repentance.

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (Past sins only upon true repentance. Do you put your trust in a human and what they say or do you put your trust in God and His word; your choice, choose wisely)?

Jeremiah 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Study your Bibles completely, cover to cover; connect the dots, get a more complete picture. Far too many don’t know this, we are commanded to study God’s word.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(This is not a wish or He is not saying “if you find the time” to study. He is saying “study”!!! Sounds like a command to me. Have you complied with this command? Sadly, the truthful answer for most would be “no”).
